Lesson 5: Module E | Services

Lesson 5 | Module E
For cash-based or out-of-network physical therapy clinics, there are several different ways that they can render their services. The most obvious of these is the in-person visit model, in which patients receive all of their care in the clinic at a recommended frequency, with a home exercise program in-between visits. This is the model that most closely resembles care in an in-network clinic.

Other options include virtual delivery of services, such as telehealth visits or online coaching/programming, or a combination of in-person visits and virtual services. Each of these options have their own unique advantages and disadvantages, and can be used to build a successful cash-based clinic.
