Lesson 10: Module A | Modifying Training
Lesson 10 | Module A
Module A covers the overall approach of how to modify training around pain/injuries. We discuss acute training variables such as volume, ROM, tempo, and others, as well as how to appropriately modify them to allow our clients/patients to continue to train throughout the rehab process.

Discussion Questions
How do you determine which acute training variables are the most important for a specific patient/client
Outline a training progression that you would use for a patient/client with anterior knee pain during squatting, who doesn’t have any notable changes in symptoms throughout the range of motion
How would you modify the following workout for a Crossfit athlete who has 7/10 shoulder pain with overhead lifting (regardless of grip):
10 min AMRAP of:

Name 3 accessory/”rehab” drills that you would add in for a powerlifter who was dealing with low back pain that is worse with deadlifting, squatting, and flexion-based activities, and detail why you made those choices
